Title: ECS Coilpack Loom - Questions...

Basically looking to change my coilpack loom, and wonderd if there was a way to tell if i have an Oil sensor or not, as this is the only variation in the looms...

Car is a 2001 1.8T (AUM) Engine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My AUM has an oil sensor, I would imagine yours will too. If in doubt, have a quick look under your car.

If there's a black 'box' bolted to the centre of your sump with a lead coming out of it then you have the sensor. Don't bother getting the loom from ECS, the part numbers are listed on there website - write it down and take it to your local stealership / TPS and buy it from there and save the postage costs.

I paid less than £30 for mine, haven't got round to fitting it yet though.....
