as above really, doing the stem seals as and when i can, im at the point of unbolting the manifold etc... then ill be looking at removing the head, so im gonna need to drop the oil soon!
im potentially looking at a month before it together enough to put new oil in, will this be ok?
same with coolant obviously :)
cheers!!

Oil everything up as you re-assemble.
Once completed, turn the engine over with the fuel pump fuse removed, this will get some oil around before you start it properly.

That's great!!
Cheers dude!!

No problem, good luck.

Cheers mate
Really enjoying it all so far!
Next step removing the manifold and injector rail, should be interesting!

Oil is needed to lubriate "moving parts". So as long as its doing nowt, you're OK.

Haha, teaching me to suck eggs mate :D
Yeah it's partly in peices so not going anywhere! Just wanted to know if it is a problem or not ;)
Cheers

Make sure the parts are covered btw.

Yeah Don't worry, I'm bagging all loose parts and keeping the bay and engine covered also!
Trying to be as clean as possible!
Also, what's best for degreasing/cleaning parts?
