Title: Towing with a MK3 GTI 8v

Hi all,

Sure i read somewhere a member here was using there GTI for towing.

Me and my girlfriend are looking into getting a caravan for use at Bug Jam and other various VW and Drag Racing festivals.

Has anyone got a cheap towbar and can someone tell me the weight limits for a GTI?

The weight of the trailer or caravan plus any load that it is carrying, (the laden weight), should not exceed 85% of the unladen weight of the car. Hope this helps :smiley:
