Title: Service light/ trip counter

Got an 01 TDi and the service light beeps. Manual said to push the trip reset button and turn clock adjust right. Tried this but not working. The trip also won't reset to 0, but I'm not sure whether that is because the service light needs reset................. although sounds more like the trip button not working.

Anyone encountered this before?
