Title: 4MOTION
Post by: nate valve on 03 June 2011, 11:44
Hi, I have a standard 4mo and wanted some advise about best exhaust, suspension, air filter etc would be best for this engine? have only had it a month after having mk3 gti so not sure what'd work best with a v6 or the 4wd?????

your a lot more limited on the 4Mo than the 1.8T cars for mods. The exhaust would be a Milltek I would guess. Suspension is unique to the 4Mo but the same as the R32 due to the 4WD so this could be a good upgrade. I am sure some companies do upgrades but they will be expensive. Panel filters are good, just don't get one thats coated with oil as this clogs up the MAF sensor and you will get running issues...

Get a milltek full exhaust.. pipercross panel filter.. get a good spring and shock kit so it sits real nice.. you can add things like high lift cam and polish and porting but its bit money for little results..
