been thinking about about buying some spacers to get more of a poke with my wheels and using camber shims.
have never used shims before so have no idea about them.
found this thread online is it pretty much the same on the mk23 as the lupo?
http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=62035
also will these shims fit without me needing spacers or anything els? my wheels at the mo are et20

that looks wicked mate. think i may need 10mm spacers to make mine realy poke.
does it efect anything. like tires ride or handling?
-
Does it effect anything.... put it this way yhe camber i have tyres with about 5-6 mm tread I went down to the wire in 2 months!
-
I don't drive fast, don't brake hard and don't throw it around corners.
My tyres still look new after 6 months
-
Exactly!
If ya look after it then ya won't wear it down so much!
-
i have done about 2000 miles in that 2months mind :P
-
i have done about 2000 miles in that 2months mind :P
I'v prob done that or more in 6 months wheels went on end of jan
-
god knows how mine had gone like it then, all iv really done is a few big motorway trips and back and forth to work everyday. maybe i had less tread than i thought!
