Title: mk3 earthing points

I'm sure there was a post listing all the mk3 earthing points but I cant find it now that I need it  :sad:

can anyone quickly list where they are please? Gonna give them a clean up over the weekend, so cure the old intermittent starting issue!

Obviously there are the ones under the battery base plate. Where else?

By the coil to the engine. and by the passenger side bonnet.

Well my bonnet one broke years ago!

There are a lot more than that including one in the rear for the CL pump!

thanks for replies. so we got:

battery base plate
coil
pass side bonnet
rear cl pump

anymore engine area ones? just want to have a go at the main ones, see if it makes any difference to my starting issue

Dunno if they are earthing points.

by the side of the fusebox by the bonnet release handle.
