Hi everyone,
I was planning to get a fellow member on here to do my remote windows but as I've been so busy moving house recently I really haven't had the time so thought I'd give it a go myself, after borrowing the cable from a mate of mine I have managed to get three out of my four windows to work, however I cannot get my rear passenger window to work.
The codes I have used are
1C0 959 799 C (2002 Golf)
Memory Address old value new value
04361 138 66
04362 138 66
04363 138 66
Now as you can see there are 4 address locations, each one relating to a window, at least that's what I'm assuming, the only problem is there is not a fourth memory location, now thinking logically I have again assumed that the fourth location would be either 04630 or 04634, I have changed both of these to the value of 66 but with no luck.
Can anyone tell me what location I should be changing and what the correct value should be, I'm guessing it would be 66 but not sure.

module working in the door? may not be connecting to software if so
-
Yeah the module is working.
I've now got it all sorted, disconnected the battery for 20 minutes, reconnected it and all now working as it should. Not sure why it wouldn't of worked before but it's all sorted now.

Hi rio_gti,
I used a serial to odb cable purchased from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/automobileworkshop?_trksid=p4340.l2563 downloaded the bootable cd image available by searching and just followed the guide, took me about 5 minutes in total and only had the problem mentioned above which is all sorted now.
