Hi folks,
Just become the proud owner of my first Golf Gti and was hoping someone may have a clue how to cure a little niggle it seems to have developed!
Basically I had someone in the front passenger seat for the first time yesterday and it seems as though the runners are worn due to the fact there was quite a bit of knocking going on, and upon further inspection when actually holding the seat there seems play/movement when rocking it from side to side and backwards and forward. I've had a look and there seems movement where the frame actually fits into the runner.
Any ideas if this is something common or simple as in the plastic roller is worn?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I've done the usual seaches which revealed a similar problem with a kit available on eBay but these are only for mk1 and mk2!
Any ideas?
Cheers.

more than likely worn from over usage off seat back and forth  have you had a look if some1s breaking 1

Yeah was thinking I may have to go down that route but was hoping I may be able to replace it with a new part. Will have to do a bit more digging methinks unless anyone else has any ideas?
