Title: Help: Under seat tray part no's
Post by: racingfreak on 31 May 2011, 20:59
Does anyone maybe have all the part no's required for fitting under seat trays? My MkV came with them, but somehow on MkVI's that we get dont get them

I found a DIY on the Tex, but for the life of me I cant seem to get the actual part no's anywhere in that thread

Heres the info from the mk5 on how there fitted.

You need parts:-

18 Guide Frame (you get 20 x 3 with 18) - Left   1K0 882 599B
                                                                   Right  1K0 882 600B

22 Drawer (Anthracite with liner for GTi's)   Left  1K0 882 601 E 71N
                                                                    Right 1K0 882 602 E 71N

23 Retainer Left  1K0 881 547 A
                   Right 1K0 881 548 A

2 x (as in two of !!) 24 - Rivets    +N 900 978 02

You'll also need fixing screws as the ones supplied for the "kit" by VW are not up to the job.  Anyone familiar with the VW's of old i.e mk1's and mk2's - the 10mm long self tapping black "dash / trim" screws are the order of the day !

Hope this helps - it is truly a really nice addition to the interior of any Mk5, a useful one at that !

Regards,

Gareth  :happy2:

That's extremely helpful thanks.  I will pass to my dealer as my interior is the same, I hope!   My GTD is currently in production and hopefully being shipped next week.

Did you get the drawers fitted yet?

Only received my car this weekend, with ordering the Golf R Leds, numberplate leds and now ordering the RNS510...these will have to wait a little

Is yours a new model? Do you also have VCDS/VAGcom? It would be interesting to see if the new BCM Central electric unit has extra options for the LED number plate lights as well as the cold diagnostics option if you do.
