I really need some aero wiper arms as I find the standard wiper arms are really annoying and in the way!
I've done a search on here and there are all sorts of threads with different part numbers and options for all sorts of Polo/Corrado/Passat arms
Is there a definitive answer to this question with part numbers?

got em on my 8v. bought from halfords as my old wipers were knacked and at that time of the day euro werent open
i think they are great wipers at low speed. but as soon as you get to 70 and over the drivers side dont work so well so your constantly left with a portion of windscreen un wiped
but that might just be my windscreen slightly warped but who knows

Saw some universal ones in asda looked the same as the bosch ones.

I think this thread has got a little confused.
There are two parts to the wiper.
The ARM, which is the part that connects the blade to the spindle
and
The Blade, which is the part that actually makes contact with the screen.
Arms-wise, haven't a clue, although how the standard arms can get in the way when parked is beyond me.
Blades-wise, Bosch aerotwin retrofits. I've had all manner of aero blades, these have been the best. Been on the car 2 years, been frozen to screen and all, and still clean as good as the first day I bought them.

I hear lupo gti 'arms' fit don't know what blades you would need though.

this question has been asked before...
my mk3 had aero wipers both front and rear... arms and blades
if you put the retrofit aero wipers on to your arms they look cack imo.. the arms stick up where the original wipers would have been
there was a company that went tits up that sold an aero wiper and arm kit... they didn't detail what the arms were off though
I 'think' there was a thread in which I looked up the part numbers on the arms and blades.. it was all genuine vw kit
I 'think' it was an arm off a lupo and one off a TT and the blades were from something else.
perhaps if you search on the forum you may find the thread in question... but you might have to go back in time a bit
if you cannot find it all is not lost... next time I see the geezer who brought my mk3 I can look up the part numbers ;)
for rear aero wipers you need to get a BMW 1 series rear wiper arm and blade and nut cover.. you can also fit a mk5 rear wiper blade but you need to do a little mod to make it all work properly... see here http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=115011.0 (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=115011.0)
