Title: Replacing standard exhaust for Milltek turbo back
Post by: WattyGTi on 31 May 2011, 11:58
Im going to be replacing my standard downpipe and catback exhaust tonight for a milltek turbo back with sports cat, just wondered if anyone knows if anything else will be needed to fit it? Already got a new downpipe gasket but is there anything else?

Hangers rubbers? clamps?  , maybe most will come with the exhaust though?

Yeah hangers and clamps are already there, using rubbers that are already on my car mate. I just wondered about the nuts on the flange of the downpipe where it meets the turbo?

Had a nightmare fitting this! Cant get to the downpipe nuts, got nothing to get in there with :( So got the catback on but doesnt connect to the standard downpipe very well so its blowing at the mo until i take it to have the sports cat/downpipe fitted

You can get a reducer from milltek for £19 delivered, but depends how long its going to be until you get the down pipe on
