Title: loosing boost

right people i notised tonight that im loosing boost
it use to hit 20 psi no problem and hold 15 after 5k
now im only hitting 18psi and its dancing between 15-18 and seems sluggish
i tried a spacer in the dv see if that was it only thing i can think of is ipe leak or maf

mods are
wagen worx remap less than 2 months old
forge 007p with yellow spring
silocone tip
CAI air filter
n75 j valve less that 2 months old aswell
its really bugging me

Check every pipes and clips, I had a slight boost leak on the oil breather I think it is, only a slight hiss n took fookin ages to find it

it will be a spilt pipe mate like what was said prob a tiny split but still causes problems

had it scanned today and it said the n249 would that cause me to loose boost as it said boost solinoid??

Isn't the boost solenoid the N75? Controls the actuator therefore determining boost? When accelerating if the boosting isn't smooth and is juddery id say N75

na not n75 mate when scanned it keeps coming back with n249 so will the bypass solve this??

Not too sure but i know wen i bypassed mine it now holds the boost alot better think its well worth doin even if it isnt the problem!!!!!!  :wink:

Yes the bypass would solve the issue if it is this, If this doesn't work it could be various other things, look at it possibly being the N75, Jerky boosting.. or a bad Actuator, which would cause your boost to slowly drop off when at full boost,  If your thinking it could be the MAF just unplug it and see if it runs worse.. if it does then its not the MAF.. Also as the other lads have said Boost or VAC leak can also be a PCV leak unfortunately it can be many.. im going through a similar situation at the moment and having to rule everything out.. lol

all sorted holds and boosts really well now and boosts hard so glad i did the bypass
