right daft as it may sound/seem, in the days of old before a decent set of component speakers or 6x9's etc you used to buy 'shelf' speakers, these were crappy speakers in a plastic box that either flew around on your parcel shelf or if you were lucky enough got screwed down!, there were many many brands of these, now if any body has any in what ever condition, i need some!!, im not bothering with a 'sound system' in the bug as its to feckin noisey, but ive got a radio to bung in it so i need some 'cheese' speakers that i can fix up under the dash (as they wont be seen)......
so if any one has any of these let me know... and if your going to newark shove em in your boot caus eim making an al be it late appearance!!

I know the things you mean, usually made by Alba and on the back shelf of a brown Ford Cortina :tongue:

yep there the kiddies, or even some old 'house' speakers would do just to bolt up in the top off the footwell !!

I had some AIWA ones knocking around my old mans garage a few years back, i'll look tomorrow to see if he's chucked them or not. If he hasn't i'll get them sent to you :smiley:

cheers bud owt will do really, the bugs that noisey im not bothered what they are really!! as long as i can hear a teeny bit of sound!!!
