Title: TDI 115 NEED HELP.
Post by: fransnz on 30 May 2011, 18:30
Hi need help!!
My car is really driving me mad. I have a boost problem. I changed the cam belt a month ago, while doing it a stripped off the turbo pipe work and EGR valve. Now when i drive over 70mph or 2100 rpm it goes in to limp mode. To try fix the problem i have resealed all the pipe work and even changed the Mass Airflow Sensor after a VAG reading said MAF error.I have even made a "boost leak tester" and found no leaks.
I am really running out of ideas. Today while driving i could hear the waste gate dumping very loud.
If i switch the car off then on it will be fine untill i go over 70mph/2100rpm.
Could it be over boosting?
I am even thinking of taking it in for repairs.

Please help.

Turbo is stuffed. Going to pull it off this weekend and clean it out.
Will update later.
