Title: bearing cap studs abf

as i have read on various forums, camshaft bearing cap studs for the abf are like gold dust. are there any other suitable studs from other manufacturers that can be used? i have been looking at using exhaust studs? would this be a daft idea?
any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you not tried VW? I'm sure they will have plenty :afro:
