Title: mk3.5 dash swap

I will be taking my dash out to replace my heater matrix in a couple of weeks time. My dash has a small cut on top of it around 10mm long and it annoys me, so im going to get another one and have seen a few on the bay around £40 delivered.

then i seen this

is it worth the extra money? I know the texture is different but ive never actually seen on close up.

Hmmm,  :undecided: That looks like a standard Mk3 dash, with the lower glove to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but try to find a few pics of the 3.5 dash and compare first. As for it being worth it, again undecided. Scene points but thats about it tbh.  :smiley:

this is what i though mate but there the same texture as a mk4 dash but never seen one close up to decide if i like it or not.

And just won a mk4 steering wheel and airbag for £30  :smiley:

Mk3.5 used that dash with mk4 style clocks.

Yes it is worth the money for something different, might be worth checking it will fit a hatch however.

Can't see the cabby being any different though unless the windscreen is a different where it meets the dash.

All to do with the crash bar, I believe the cabrio is different.

Ah ok don't think al bother the door trim an rear panels won't match either so all stick with mk3 one a think.

3.5 cab dash is NASTY and plastic looking as hell.. id stay well clear

If I still stick with my mk3 its one of the mods I would like to do as the 3.5 dash looks so much better than a standard mk3 one.The texterd finish is really nice and you notice it as soon as you get in the car maybe not everyones choice but I like it.
