Title: How much would you pay from your local?

At the time it seemed a lot lol but not sure now.
Cut long story short I had gti headlights, 8v airbox, square indicators, oval indicators and two sets off front indicators. (all orange cl items)
He wanted £50 I said £40 or nothing, then ended coming home with nothing  :grin:

Scrappies seem to be getting expensive these days  :angry:

I wouldnt pay any more than £30! Fair play to you for sticking to your guns!

Youre gonna have to get a mate to go down there and fetch the bits though if you really need em  :grin:

I don't need them! Just want to change things up. And got a plan for ultimate airbox mod!


madmanmart, I will keep you in mind in the future. Getting my leg sleeve on Wednesday so be couple of weeks  :wink:

i can vouch for madmanmart top chap!! i have had parts off him before!

Scrappies are bad now!!! but i have a little nugget of one near me i am in there all the time so i have got to know them and they know i am a cheeky git sometimes go very low then meet in the middle which may be the price you wanted if not walk away

Funny really, scrappies seem to have different prices for eveyting.  Some things they know there worth, some they dont.

I picked up a load of bits i thought were going to cost me around £40, he said £10.  lol

Oh well, barter hard!

I've found that a cheeky 'make it cheap, I'm poor' with accompanying smile seems to make the price low. Maybe that's just my natural charm though? :P
