Title: chunky mk3 gti steering wheel, any info on it?
Post by: wrobstar21 on 28 May 2011, 17:38: Saw a picture somewhere of a golf with this chunky mk5 look wheel with a mk3 gti airbag. It looked oem.

Does anyone know anything about these steering wheels as I'd love to get hold of one!

On a rare parts forum someone mentioned a jap import one, could that be it?

I would guess so as the car I believe was an import.

Post by: MK3GTI_16Valve on 30 May 2011, 21:09: Got the price down to â‚¬1000 euro...was only buying it for parts as it was a five door 16v in silver which is rare as f@ck here...only 2 pics in the ad which did it no justice....turned out to be immaculate...all the extras and no rust so selling my older one instead...took a few more pics can put them up if u like
