I agree mate, they do look ok and better than the OEM versions - however! I think fitting non-OEM DRL's is nothing short of sticking some fairy lights on your car like all the Citreon Saxo race cars that hang around at the local McDonalds

maccy d's massive would make you feel right at home with those on

Good find Kenny,
I think they are stunning.
I'm not a fan of the OEM arrangement with the DRL's and (taking a bold pill) I reckon they look more OEM than the OEM ones.
I'd quite happily fit these but I'm not after new lights.
-
Don't mind the black ones BUT as part of my job includes designs wiring harness'es i find that wiring nasty.
-
They look very good and the messy wiring should be no great problem as it cannot be seen, could be sorted by Snoops (For a fee, ocourse. Oh, I am his agent!) and not have an impact on the performance.
However, I am told that they are only available for LHD cars. Maybe I am wrong. :undecided:

Headlights can be adjusted manually Asker so not a problem in that respect. Also, they are for sale from a UK supplier and quotes they are for RHD so must already be adjusted, but that doesnt stop you tweaking them too. At £300 i think they are not that bad. Could be tempted to try them out :undecided:

I don't like them. Purely because the mixture of round and square lights just don't look right to me. Added to that you have those silly fang shaped fog lights underneath which just makes the front end look like a dogs dinner aesthetically.
Maybe I just woke up in a bad mood today? Anyone want a fight?

I'll fight ya, as long as the winner gets your wheels, or in a case of me losing, the loser gets the wheels

Which wheels? I only asked so I could tease you by posting up photos of the relevant set!!!
I'm always open to offers and bribery

If I see your car I'll just swap the plates as mine is the same colour and year, you'd never notice.....

I posted those lights on here a while back and the general consensus on here seemed to be they were naff and cheap from memory. I have' personally always liked them and I think if someone took the plunge they would be on to a winner. The darker lens once would look especially good on a CW.

I've got no problems with that, always fancied a DSG!!!
Good luck with anyone fitting a set of those lights, I'm still in the 'naff' camp. Bit of Lamin-x on a standard set of lights would have a better aesthetic effect I reckon.

The more I see them, the more I like them.
Right, I'll PM you Kenny for a bit of chit-chat tomorrow. Too p!ssed to be sensible tonight.

Look forward to it Asker

With those looks and the dodgy wiring I can just picture the scene now; you're half way round Sainsburys and a call comes out over the tannoy: '' Will the owner of the boss eyed Golf please return to your vehicle as your lights are on fire....thank you.....ding dong...''
