Title: Changing back light clusters... any tips?
Post by: The Dave on 27 May 2011, 01:40
Aint looked/done this yet but picking up some euro spec rears on Sat.

Are there any hidden/awkward bolts to look out for or hidden clips? Will I be able to do this without removing all of the boot trim/coverings? I'm assuming there are just 3 bolts.

Thanks guys :)

yeah unscrew 3 bolts and it sort of pulls off to the side as there is a connector sorta thing right up on the side.

good luck, they are a PITA without snapping off a corner!

Remove the passenger side trim as there is a real awkward bot to get to, use a socket with blu tak so you don't drip it they're a pain to find.

Don't forget to fit the gaskets from your old lights.

Also make sure you fit right watt brake bulb, smoked units take 10w, the rest take a 5w. Unsure what euro falls under?
