yeah, read a while back. it's only club gti worcs region website that have had the contact.

i have noticed some interesting traffic links to here recently, including some coming from an online brand management company  :huh:

What a bunch of tossers! :shocked:

They need to be bombarded with E mails from members of any VW site like ours.
If this continues all of the enthusiast sites need to get together and stick up em!
They don't like it up em you know! :laugh:

Seriously though the best thing would be to go to the press and try to get them to make a story out of it. All the bad publicity should make them think again! :angry:

But surely if we arent tarnishin the logo/brand name..wots the problem?they r just creating bad publicity for themselves imo!

well i think if you actually own a vw then you should be entitled to use a copy of there logo as and when you choose after all, be it new or second hand the money still goes there way one way or another.They can come knocking on my door if they want.............. ill tell them to sort a few things they should have recalled on various models before they start moaning about me using there logo!! lol

They, VW, are big big business so they have to protect their strong brand image. They would be foolish not to. However, enthusiast groups like ourselves only help to strengthen their brand. If this site was just one big complaint about how Golf GTI's are sh!te then I would fully expect the use of logo's etc be used as a way to pull the site. It's not though, it's a very VW positive site bringing enthusiasts together to help enjoy their fine choice of transport.

Before i became a part of this forum i was driving a Volvo, never had a VW, and to be honest wasn't to sure what to get next.

I joined and realized that the VW brand itself promotes massive enthusiasm among its owners just by us all driving and owning them,

which means that they are doing something right,. Since joining i have NEVER been so happy with a car and quite frankly will

probably not consider buying anything else apart from VW. Now you, VW, try and tell me that web sites like these are not promoting

the brand. We love, drive and share the experience of owning a VW, even if my bloody gear linkage is playing up, so please let us be

else I'm going to by a ford :sad:. Right I'm off my soap box now, god they anger me. :angry:

i reckon the love thing all strated in the seventies when everyone was driving beetles and getting caned...................
