Title: paid £25 for diagnostics to find out absolutly nothing lol
Post by: bullzeye on 26 May 2011, 00:19
As i posted other day i have a slight loss of boost from my 1.8t, my code reader gave me temp sensor code so i replaced that.
still not happy with the miles per gallon and the boost so took it to garage today for diagnostics costing £25 only for polish dude to say theres no codes but it could be my maf or lambda, diverter valve humm where do i start lol
i do get the chatter/whoosh sound from diverter valve could that be the cause of my problems? as i think if the maf or lambda wasnt working i would be getting fault codes??

MAF won't always give codes. Worth servicing the diverter valve and see if that improves matters?
