Title: Golf 1.8 T 92k Opinions??

Hey seen a car for sale and it has 92k miles which i know isnt alot but would i be more likely to enounter problems with it? I only do about 6-7k miles a year.

Car:
2002
CAMBELT KIT @ 73000 MILES

At the moment its for sale at £2790 from a garage.

its just my last golf had 77k miles so that really was a baby lol. Hopefully this one is a bit better than some of the others i have seen. Im sure i must ahve done about 4/5 of these threads and theyve all turned out to be no good  :cry:

I want to start modding lol but i cant with a bloddy 2.0GTI  :embarassed:

Really want to start going to some meets and stuff along with my dad and his vr6 but atm would feel slighty  :embarassed: with a 2.slow  :grin:

ye just seen that, looking for a 2001,2002,2003 3 door model so apart from that it looks perfect lol  :smiley:

ive done a hpi check using the iphone app (my car check) only 2.99 so i know it wont be the most accurate but im a bot worried with what it came back with. On the advert it says it has had 2 owners but hpi says it has had 4 and registration recored as having a plate transfer?

Should i do a proper one? Also have emialed the garage reagrding the mot test number so i can do that free check thing to check mot etc.

Mines on 123K and still going strong,rock solid engine the 1.8t if you don't chase bhp

Mines on 145k and I agree with Patch, mine is mildly modded and the engine has been the only bit of the car which has been flawless since I've owned it :)

You will be alright if serviced properly, mine is on 125k and used daily pushing a steady 240bhp and has been doing so for a couple of years now without any problems with the block or internals or turbo. Im only looking to an engine rebuild as Im looking to push more power but otherwise fine as it is.
