Last few months have been pretty sh!t for me. My boss has cut down on over time which is what I used to rely on to have a life. I'm sure like most of u guys I've got a mortgage to pay n bills to go with. I'm just tired of always being skint!
Any of u guys got any tips or tricks of how to make money or generate extra cash at the end of the month? I'm sure I'm not the only person on the forum that will benefit from your guys knowledge! Just looking for options before robbing a bank! Lol!
So far I've gone through my bank statement and looked at what payments I've made that I don't. Need to make and I've canceled a few DDs and decided that I spend too much money on lunches so sandwiches are in order!
Next is going through the loft and shed lookin for stuff to sell!

Maybe a weekend job? failing that, sell and buy bits for cars, yes it can be dodgy with ebay fees, etc etc, but cant really think of anything else !

Sounds like you've already started the process though :afro: Myself and Linzi are doing something similar; fed up of being skint at the end of every month!!

Definately sell any stuff around the house you don't need, I made loads of money selling junk from my house on e bay. Cut down any bills that are not a necessity.
-
thats the first step cut out wasting money on stuff you dont need like lunch where you can take your own, ive currently stopped going out in town on a friday and wasting lots of money on drink coming up for 2 months now that i havent been out!
Although im only starting to see a slight difference but a difference non the less,
do you have any other skills that you can use to make money? or as mentioned get a second job or partime job :)
-
Could always sell drugs...or your body..
Best thing is what you've already started doing by cutting out any things you don't need. Then you would want to look at either an extra job or better one then your current one.
-
Aye me and the girl have started to make lunches now as we're trying to clear off some debt and save etc.
Only thing that ever made a difference to me was running a bar job for cash in hand when I was in college. Used to pull a Monday shift and gave me my "play" money for the week. Was a good laugh and managed to pull some shifts on the world cup games which made the working environment awesome.
Not sure I'd want to pull one now I do a long officey type job now.

thought about Drug dealing ? can make serious money from that
if you was a DJ, you can make very strong money from this too, (if you are good)
other than that all i can say is cut down on buying junk food, beer and smoking.. look for a better job too.

You could always try mining for bitcoins if you've got a computer that doesn't get much use...

Very unlikely lol plenty good dj's don't make much money, to many people willing to play for free nowadays.

Good DJs should be making 140 a night at least....
Could shell out 200 quid for your SIA badge and start doing a bit of door/security work at the weekends.. (£10 an hour at least)

Its sh!t isnt it.
I earn good money but always seem to get close to running out at the end of the month, i love my social life so there is no way i could stay in on a friday or saturday night.
Today i noticed in Tesco (which is very close to my office) that at 4pm the sandwiches get stickers put on them priced at like 40p each! bargin!!
I normally spend £5-6 a day on lunch and reckon with my new find i can cut that down to £2.. That alone works out at £80 a month and that just a small effort which would be easy to stick to.
-
my mate has been buying cheap cars cleaning them up and repairing them if needed himself then selling on i know the last 1 he did he made 500quid profit hes been doing it a few months now and managed to find himself a unit to do it in now

Just a thought - when you eat dinner what is it that you have? Do you buy ready made stuff or do you bother taking a bit of time to cook something? If you make stuff in bulk (such as bolognese, chilli, stews etc) and freeze it, it can work out ridiculously cheaper than buying pre-packaged stuff. You'll also be doing yourself a favour by eating more healthily as there's none of the preservative cr4p in it and you know how much salt you're using.

Become a drug mule.
Get a nice holiday in Columbia too..

+1 mate of mine gets about 40ish quid every friday night and basically he goes out at 9 ish has a few drinks, djs from 11-1 then finishes off the night with a few more beers and a parmo on the way home, and hes only doing 2 hours a night, if he did more hours im sure hed get more money
he also djs on sat and thursday for the whole night

This is a great saving method. Buy stuff from cheap supermarkets too, for example spending £30 in tesco won't get you that much, but £30 in iceland or lidel will get you loads and loads.
Fit energy saving bulbs wherever you can, and make sure stuff is turned off at night.
Make sure you don't have any water leaks around the house, make sure if the heaters are on the windows are shut and turn off the thermoswitch 30 minutes before you leave the house too, that'll save loads!

A night lmao i used to get £150-180 for an hour set & thought that was poor, i didn't realise you were talking pub/disco dj

one for the woman, avon, sell make up to your neighbours and friends, you get a comission, unless you guys know anythint about make up?
another one, my mates missus used to stay at home with their 3 kids, so every so often, the local flower shop would take a huge bunch of flowers round, she would then turn them into bunches and presentation bunches, etc, what ever was required, a few days later, the flower shop would go pick them up
alternativiely, build a partitioning wall in your spare bedroom and harvest some green, lol
