Title: Bmw E46 320/330d Sport
Post by: chrisj on 24 May 2011, 22:19
I've sold my turbo due to running costs as i'm doing at least a thousand miles a month and it's costing me a fortune. Has anyone had any experience of one of these. I've got £4500 to spend and i really like these, but lots of people say they aren't that reliable.I've had a 150 gt tdi which i had no problems with and is the other choice, but i wanted to know if anyone could offer an opinion on these. Thanks

plus when the snow comes youll struggle to get anywhere, if you want a reliable all year car then look elsewhere

320d was nothing but a let down, it's never run the way it should.

330d was brilliant and better on the juice, bits and bobs would go about once a month though, so maintenance costs on both are very high.

You can get a lot more car for your money if you look elsewhere.

Plus, they are the most uncomfortable car in the world. No rear head/legroom, dodgy curving design means that no one over 5'6" can sit in the passenger seat without breaking their right leg off and crap seats and driving position.

Hold down the traction control button for 5 seconds and find a wet roundabout though... That's quite nice.

You could get a nice D2 Audi S8 for that money.
