Thanks wakeskater for starting this :) like stated many hrs gone into this car I've owned it nearly 6 yrs now and done all the bodywork myself and sprayed it black now painting green :) any comments welcome

Not a big fan of the front bumper and the mirrors but the rest is nice.
Did you smooth the tailgate yourself?
Is the rear bumper one you have done yourself or is it a part of a bodykit?
Just done my rear end so interested.

Lol think I've had enough of smoothing for now :) just do it yourself mate i was a complete novice until i did this :) and I've just got a central locking solanoid rigged to a switch on dash to open boot or use a door popper mate :)

Whats your thoughts on the smoothed sides?
-
Yeah really like them. I like the whole car minus the boot. Thought about smoothing out the front bumper?
-
Thanks :) ye i intend too eventually just gotta finish painting car and the other 2 wheels first gotta do a repair to the rear bumper aswell so probably do them at same time and i am putting the vw badge back on the boot :)

Looks very plain with sides filled in, I prefer them on as it helps break the sides up.
-
I was going for the less is more simple approach smoothed lines pictures dont do it justice but like i said wont be to everyones taste :) i like it and at the end of the day thats why I've done it:) believe me it Wasnt an easy job! Anyway I've started a thread in dub rides- built on peanuts mk3
