Title: how to remove the steering wheel

hi all, just woundered how to remove the steering wheel so i can replace the mfa and indicator stalks

Pop of the horn cover in the middle. Unclip the horn electrical wires.  Whack on a socket and extention bar and release the nut.

Simple as.

The steering column is a splined shaft.  The steering wheel has a splined hole - for want of a better word - it just slips on and off.

make sure to mark the splines so that when you reassemble  the wheel is on straight.

Pull off centre cap, undo big bolt, pull off steering wheel  :rolleyes:
