hi guys my mk3 ive had for over a year now and has developed this problem that it opens but wont close and i have to do it manually with the little allen key you get, any help much appreciated, my dad suggested a fuse??? if so where would this be?
thanks andy.

Well if it opens it can't be a fuse as it wouldn't move either way. It could be Switch issue though?
-
As Thai said if it opens it's not going to be the fuse! My money would be on the switch

My money is on the switch mate i had this problem, mine was damp due to a soaking car when i got it.

Swith or linkage problem

i had this problem last week, had the car two years no problem, then locked the car, and it opened by it self and wouldnt close, i closed it with allen key, then been fine since. it was almost like the sunroof was stuck, when i pressed the close button, u cud hear the motor want to wind for a second but alost like it didnt have enough power to free it. strange, im kkeeping a eye on mine

I get this occasionally too. I find that if the little cover that sits over the allen key part isnt fully in place it disables the sunroof.
