Title: mk5 monza copy alloys
Post by: steve113 on 23 May 2011, 19:40: what do u think about mk5 style monzas 18 inch copy's on a mk 4 1.8 t ? as i am thinking about replacing my :sick: 5 spoke 17's

The chrome shiney stuff basicly flaked off eventually with ageing and they easily kerbed or got marked. Looked good though when they weren't knackered :P think a guy on here Wazzzer has 18" Gen Monza's on his now, have a look for his Project page.

The white worm that was on mine seems to happen to any diamond cut wheel, just look at the santa monicas if they aren't looked after

Didnt like the mk5 monza's on mk4's to be honest, but after seeing them in the flesh (indigo blue example above :wink: ) can say they look pretty damn cool :smiley:

IMO the best wheels for a MK4 are BBS LMs
