Hi to all.I've just got a mk3 8v gti and was wondering if anybody knows what are the smallest wheels that will fit my car.Its 5 stud and was thinking going down the "euro look" road. Thanks
-
15". The brakes down't allow for anything smaller.
-
Don't have to go small to go euro

i agree just go low and stick them deep dish rims out of the arches
-
15" is the smallest, anything smaller looks daft and screws up the gearing.
-
Swap your brakes for GL items and get yourself some of these 14"s!

14's require a crazy low drop to start looking good. If you want small wheels 15's are a good size :afro: I run 15's and think they're a good size, not too big but not too small either.
-
Agreed, 15"s look small on a Mk3 anyhow if they're wide enough..
-
Anything smaller than 15's will look stupid :undecided:

Cheers for the input guys :smiley:Just got a vento front end and I'm in 2 minds whether to go matt black bonnet and roof or keep it all one colour (fiord blue or something). Also liking the deep dish idea,I had some black with chrome rims on my T4.
-
One colour. Random matte patches look cheap.
-
So you want to go euro but don't know what it is. Don't have matt black at all looks crap!!!
-
euro is clean and fresh looking. e.g seats without the headrest, hidden exhaust with exhaust cutout deleted. etc.
Also its not all about deep dish wheels with euro, it's the stance. you can have flat faced merc wheels that poke.
-
hidden exhaust with exhaust cutout deleted. etc.
THis isn't aim hust at you as I have seen several people post this but how do you delete something which is not there? Surely you "fill" it not delete it.

Very true my friend, it is just a term used. However you are still removing the cutout even though you are still adding material to the car.
