Hi guys, I'm in the process of now ordering the leds and just have a question regarding the harnesses
In SteveP's DIY I see he uses 2 different type of repair wires (both yellow)

but most harnesses on ebay and the ones on kufatec only use 1 grey wire between the plugs...why is this?

Further, how do I actually fix the wires into the plugs?
Thanks in advance

The insulation colour of the wire will make no difference.
Best bet is just to buy some of Ebay. I brought mine from here. They took 3-4 days to arrive from zee germans.

Thanks, problem is that ordering them works out to double the cost of doing it myself due to VAT and import tax in South Africa, also not sure how long postage will take for us

Steve's repair wires are connected in the middle by soldering the wires together (in the middle) so we have ]-x-[ where each bracket is a ] or [ and the wire is a - and the solder is the x

I see fair enough. Maybe continue with trying to make the wiring looms up yourself then.

Thanks for all the help guys
I now know why, because the wires SteveP used already have the connector pins on both ends for the specific plug, where the ones sold on ebay the guys add their own connector pins...I'll much rather do a simple solder in the middle than battle with fitting all those pins to the wire ends
