All was looking so well until i turned up and it had a bump just above the back window plus a few fault codes which im not sure what they mean lol. Also when he was driving the car it felt juddery (not sure if its a word lol) and the petrol looked very very low however there was no petrol light on which i thought was strange?

code reader fault codes:

17939
17840
17695
17645
17648
17646
17834
17841
17647
17956

Cheers guys anyhelp appreciated

Edit: Just read the manual a couple of the codes werent listed which is helpful lol, but the ones that were say Cylinder # Fuel Injector Circuit-Open Circuit. Its #1,#2,#2 so not sure what that means

unfortunatly that price sounded abit cheap for 03 golf, i have prooved twice over you only get what you pay for, personly id leave it, but thats just me, im probly the worse car buyer ever now, after previous experiences:)

Ye I'm going to leave it even if it didn't have any faults the condition of car for the year wasn't very good. Viewing another one (metallic grey) at weekend so hopefully that goes a bit better  not into much of a rush as I've still got my 2.0 gti so it's not as if I'm car less lol
