Title: AUM tappy noise coming from injectors?

Thought it was the belts at first but if I get my ear close can hear a kind of tapping noise coming from the 2nd injector. Is this common? What could it be? Cheers :)

Mine sounds like that and it's a 1.8T I thought it was tappets at first/hydraulic lifters, but I think it's the injectors Workin and with the engine covers on you can badly hear it, I wouldn't worry about it.

Ones i've heard its normal does on mine. Is slightly off putting tho.

ok cheers I guess, doesnt sound right to me though :P maybe I'll get an engine cover

sounds a bit like a diesel  :undecided:
