As you may have read I asked a few weeks back about my oil pressure light coming on once my car had reached operating temperature and that the engine was really tapperty even after changing the tappets/cam followers (whatever you want to call them) so I proceeded onto changing the oil pump.
Must admit my brother has done this for me in the evenings since Wednesday and it's been a nightmare but the new pump is now in and now the car sounds brilliant, the tapping noises have gone completely! :D BUT my oil light still comes on as before :(
I have changed one sensor on the car the one near the top of the engine, the sensor is white if that helps you identify which one it is :p but my brother said there are two sensors? What would you suggest anything I can try to stop the light coming on? :(
Where would you start?

Yes from memory you have 2 sensors but one is temp and the other is pressure.

Changed the oil pressure switch which cured the problem for a brief time then the light came back on again. Not sure what to do now :( The car is ALOT quieter so I'm guessing the pump has done something at least and oil is definitely getting round the engine.
Any suggestions at all? D:
