Ah JV,I have a cunning plan.I live in Doncaster and as u proberbly know next weekend is "Ripspeed Donny"..So I reckon flat foot will have his desk full of paperwork for the next year pulling over all the novas n stuff,so gonna fit em after the event. It,ll take em months to push billy corsa bollox thru the books giving me a summer of hassle free deutsche plate nonsense..woooohoooooo

If you do have german plates fitted then carry a set of road legal original ones in the boot.

Then when you get pulled over and he says they're not road legal you can say you were just at a show and forget to change them back before leaving, get the "legal" ones out of the boot and start to change them there and then.

Most coppers will let you off with a slapped wrist.

To be honest to the casual observer and most bobbies they'll just glance and think you're actually driving a german registered car!

Never had any probs with mine, not yet anyway :undecided:

I got the surrounds too, they need to be screwed on, but then your plates clip in and out easy enough if u do get pulled.

search for euro_tags on ebay, cheap if your after german plates

No drilling needed with my backing plates. Just some very good quality number plate tape. Surrounds were from Just Matz. Excellent quality as well.

I paid 73 euro for 2 german plates, shipping and I think Gary odered 2 frames he does used ones as well as new ones.

What we call teh standard size German plates he calls the German Euro Plate.
To make it clear look through e-bay and ask him a question through a link to the style plate you want, his english is quite good
