i had to take my induction kit off mine as the car hated it and it upset the air flow meter (which i had to replace) i think alot of people here recommend that you modify the orginal box, and get a upgraded on the panel filter, if you do a forum search you should be able to find some posts in the past that maybe helpfull to you.

Tp be honest mate ,is it really worth bothering with anything on a 1.6?You will gain nothing except maybe a bit of noise. You might actually lose power with a induction kit with all that hot air under the bonnet. Replace with stock panel filter or a lightly oiled performance panel filter.
