Title: when braking hardish,not abs hard but hardish

my car started to shudder

ive just changed to summer wheels,brand new balanced wheels so im not sure if its that

but ive noticed my brake pads are a bit low

is it time i replaced the brake pads?

Could be warped discs, uneven pads or the wheels could possibly be out of shape.

Put your old wheels back on and see if it's still juddering, at least it'll rule out the wheels. If it still judders then change discs and pads  :smiley:

And does it get worse the hotter they get?
