Decided on getting this exhaust for my GTI. Has anyone on here done this? Did you run into any problems?
Also I will be looking for an r32 bumper if anyone can point me in the right direction.
I will post pics as I go along if anyone is intrested.

as far as i know it wont fit a gti without serious modification and the car will look weird with only a r32 rear thats just my opinion but i would maybe rethink that. But im pretty sure a r32 exhaust wont fit a gti maybe someone else can shed some more light
-
and remember dont a great note from the r32 system on a gti as i have read on a couple of dif forums its not great
-
im pretty sure it wont fit due to the spare wheel department in the boot unless ofcourse the exhaust isnt an original r32 and indeed a replica made specifically to fit the mk4 gti , dont quote me on that tho as i may be wrong.

This is what you're after mate

I got mine fitted at R-Tech along with a remap

couldnt you just cut and weld the spare wheel well up?
Surely aint that bad.

You could do, but it's not really worth it, as you're hacking your car to pieces, using a crap 2nd hand exhaust system, not to mention, where are you gonna store the spare wheel?
Invest in Milltek, it's worth it

Yeah looks good does that. Have you got any pics mate? and did you have any problems with fitting?
-
get a custom system .. cheaper and get what you want

Two options mate,
Miltek do the setup you want for the standard car of the r32 style and it fits in the same place as the standard box, only difference is you have to cut a bit of plastic by the tank to allow one of the pipes to get round otherwise it will drape to low low.
Other option is custom build which will be a cheaper option unless you can find the miltek 2nd hand for a good price.
You can cut the standard rear valance and poke the twin setup through without getting a r32 style bumper, "vwprime" has done it on the forums, eventually this is what I want to do as well.

Check out powerflow and price a custom system.

Thanks for all the info
