mate had a VR6 about 10 years ago ( wrapped it into a Merc head-on, on the wrong side of the road! bye bye licence and car!) and I honestly dont think he had rear headrests, so it possibly does'nt come with em.
Is their holes where they should go????
-
no, no hole but was thinking of a the complete thing save funking around makin hole an sh!te
thanks anyway
did any mk3 golfs come with rear headrests?

My highline has rear head rests. And i think most non highline leather interiors did as well.
Also i think GLs had rear head rests. But i can't ever remember seeing a gti with them. I guess if you want them you might have to get a set of black GL ones and fit them to your seats. Bit of a mission though.
Not sure if any non gti's had the same pattern material on the seats. Your best bet might be to look at an SE. They had good spec and possibly gti seats.
This is possibly the least conclusive answer ever. Sorry. Might give some ideas for more investigation though.

no, thats a great help thanks
i have a friend that has an se, the seats are the same but i cant remember if they have headrests
worth a look though
cheers m8

Vento? Or what about a new Golf/Bora and get the headrests re-covered?
Costly but an option. :undecided:

i'm looking to do a straight swap
i saw a gl, or something like that, on my way home last night and that had rear headrests

yeah my valver has leather interior with rear headrests...
the golden rule with golfs genrerally.. (esp mk4s as only 1.8Ts / and 4motions had em...) is that if its got rear head rests its a bit quicka.. haha
