Title: MK6 TDI Physical Modifications...

Just curious as to whether or not anybody has done any physical mods too there TDI's. I've got a white GT TDI and I'm looking to add some new skirts (possibly the GTI ones) and a few other bits but I'm not too sure if they will fit without much fiddling about or if they will even fit at all. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Also if any of you have actually done any mods could you upload a few pictures for me to look at, inspirational purposes of course  :grin:

I bought my BBS wheels from a chap with a modified TDI 140.
Here's a link to his build thread, he has GTI/D skirts on his car (but has since sold it and bought a Scirocco):

The second 1 is awesome! I've been looking at a few peoples cars today and I'm definitely going to grab some GTI skirts and also the front lip from the GTI but I'm not sure if it's going to fit? Could anybody shed any light before I go ahead with it, part numbers also would be IDEAL! I seen them on a post yesterday but forgot to bookmark it :(

Kieron, the reason I am considering Blue Motion bits for my car is that I don't want to make it look like I really wanted a GTI/D.

If you google images of a Blue Motion, it dosn't look all that with it's little 15" wheels, but I reckon my car (tornado red, 5 door with Vancouvers) should look well with the body additions.

The Blue Motion skirts will look excellent on your car Simon.
The GTI/D skirts are a bit half arsed at best, I don't hate them but if my car didn't have them fitted as standard I wouldn't spend my own money on buying a set to glue on.
