GTI headlights have 2 separate chambers. Those are standard non-GTI units.

What he said. Single chamber lights came on CLs, and other lower spec models.

b.t.w even the sportier driver model had these single chamber lights!! (it wasn't just base models)

I need to add "GTi without the insurance costs"...you would think 90bhp would make them cheap!!
(I talk from experience as a driver was my first mk3 and it was only about £60 less to insure than a gti!! b.t.w this was when mk3's were top $$$ and I couldn't afford to buy a gti!! A lot's changed in 10 years! :laugh:)
