Title: TDI engine light

My friend currently has the engine light showing on the dash. VAG shows no fault however the rear brake lights aren't working...any connection?? Its an 02 plate 115bhp.

Replace the brake light switch

I assume his glow plug lamp is lit?  That doubles as the fault light for the brake switch  :nerd:

Yes, he has that too, only on occasion though!

Easy enough fix i assume?

Yep very easy to replace.
