There bang on. They look fantastic. 19s by the look of things. Looking forward to seeing more pics.
-
Perfecto!
You just need some Fabia vRS or Leon Cupra R wheel nut covers to finish the wheels off, Steve. They arrived quickly too.

Cheers Andy, yes forgot to put the wheel nut covers back on.
Wouldn't have picked them without your help.
-
Leave the nut covers off for a few miles Steve, then get the nuts checked for tightness (oooer Missus) after a week or two. New alloys and bolts need a few miles to settle in and the bolts can loosen a little.
The dark grey looks perfect against the white. Spot on choice.

Yum

Ok, now I see the attraction with these pictures.
Boot fixed, new wheels and when a new knob? Andy managed to get a new knob. Get him to hunt one out for you. He's on the prowl in the early hours when all us normal humans are tucked away in bed and in slumberland.

Yes mate, 235 conti's.
Car feels a lot more planted on the road, not much difference really between the 18's and 19's.

Congratulations, but I will always prefer the iconic Monza Shadows.
Iconic? ICONIC? For what? Being dreadful looking and worming badly? Probably the worst standard wheels fitted to any MK of GTI.

Blimey all four of yours got white worm. Had one replaced under warrenty but my others are o.k. Then again there waxed and tucked away in storage at my office.
Be good if you could take some pictures of the white worm on all your wheels and post them on here for the record. Thinking it may help others fight a case to get them replaced if they have any future probs.

Ignore me, just seen the For Sale thread. I'd love to take these but right now due to my house move I've been told to hold back on any purchases.

House move, too much DIY, converting garage for home cinema.. etc etc. All work, not enough money, the usual.
