Just found this on the MK1 Owners site. Another Cab in Bronze! Owned by some women in West Wales  :cool:

Won't be going in any show and shines this year, just club displays for me   :smiley:

We've all got bits and bobs close up that could do with making better. I cleaned mine yesterday and although it looks nice and shiney, when I go close up you can see that it needs a cut and shine and you spot all the stone chips and dings, goes with having them as daily drivers I guess so you're not on your own. :smiley:

I reckon most show and shiners dont drive their cars much and just sit and polish them all the time which kind of defeats the enjoyment of having them if you ask me.

i saw a nice mk2 red gti for sale near my house about 3weeks ago

went past again today and saw a bronze mk1 cab oustside with a corrado g60 :laugh:

I saw another Bronze Cab yesterday, only thing is can't remember exactly where I saw it!! Went from Corby (northants) to Chelmsford then back so doesn't narrow it down much!

On the subject, I keep seeing a light Metallic gren cab with black roof round be me near Grantham - anyone here? If so I pass you in my MK1 Campaign :wink:
