Chop the springs. Good first choice. Whilst your at it, do the brake lines too.

Tell me sir. Are you what they call a "Chav"?

I thought I'd leave this, because it's a new user on here, but as the rest have jumped in.....
Chopping springs = bad and MOT fail. Just don't do it.
Lowering springs really don't cost all that much. You should probably spend nearly as much as the springs getting the front aligned after lowering it however it's going to happen.
Bonnet bra? Why? What an odd thing to fit to it.
Why do you want to fit a front splitter? Isn't there one on there already?
Maybe drive it for a while, unless you're some sort of lifestyle gimp, in which case, good luck with these boys.

Chop the springs
Would not bother with coilovers, fit a good quality spring and shock kit.
-
I'd sell it to someone who's not gunna butcher it. If u want to go stupid low then get coilovers, if you want sensible get springs and dampers. Is it a gti? I may have read but have forgotton

Also bonet covers do more damaged. They collect moisture and vibrate against the paint = paint damage.

My car had chopped springs, I suspect it may have passed its MOT with them too . Really dangerous there was no preload whatsoever I took them apart without using my spring compressors. Ride was shocking.
