Title: mk2 alternator bracket

hey guys, i bought a cylinder head from someone for peanuts (ported and polished) the only problem is that the bit that secures the alternator has been cut off. no idea why. i tried to make a bracket up for it which just snapped, is there any way i can fit it to the engine without using the adjuster, just hold it fixed, i can only think of putting a beefier bracket on

tig a lug back on the cyl head
