Title: Symptoms of a lock module fail??

Our V5 3 door seems to have the following symptoms and I just want a little feedback re the cause if any one can help?

1. Main Interior light does not not activate when drivers door is opened (the rear interior lights come on as they should).

2. Drivers side puddle light does not illuminate

3. There is no seatbelt warning light or beep nor a beep if driving lights are left on when key is taken out

The doors lock fine and the alarm arms itself (we have on a couple of occassions had the alarm go off as if the door lock has not been recognised and failed to disarm) however this has not happened at all recently.

One other minor thing is that each time I unlock our other car (Scirocco) the indicators on the golf flash for a while before going off again (the alarm doesn't sound)  Not a big problem but i just wondered if it is linked to the other niggles or if it is just a case of the cars having similar signals for the lock commands from the key fobs?
