There kinda tacky if you ask me mate, mine had one fitted cause the ignition switch was broke but I replaced an got rid of the button.

I know thats the general idea but I personally like them if they are done in a tatsefull way with a high quality well chosen switch mounting point

I know but like I said I personally like them and once the car is complete it won't be out of place.

Fair play mate, do what you want. It's your car. :afro:

If I were to get one I'd have it on one of the blanks around the headunit area.

Ive never understood the logic in fitting something like this, what's the point in adding another switch/ button to do what your key already does?

Why fit smoked headlights? why make a car faster when you can only do 70mph?

It's modifying it's about your personal taste and likes. I like starter buttons and should find suitable place to fit one I shall. And just add if there so crap why do so many modern hot hatches have them ? mk1 focus RS? Honda S2000? they all still need a key.
