ok blue, you know me and the sort of things i like and that i'm not adversed to the odd modification!!!

i bought one of these (from japan, much cheaper) because i thought they'd look cool and i've always had armrests in my company cars. but they look cheap as hell, really badly finished, crappy monkey metal fitting kit and worst of all....they don't even fit!!! basiclly they fit length ways and meet up with the centre console nicely but you have to squeeze them in between the seats. once squeezed into place it looked sh!t because it blatantly didn't fit. i've been told you need to move the seat adjusters to the other side of the chair to get them to fit properly but it still makes using the seatbelts a nightmare. i tried to get around this but thought it was like trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear!! at the end of the day, nice idea but crap in reality, which is a real shame.

no offence to anyone who has one but i think they look bloody terrible. its always the same with after market parts like these, i

tried fitting one in my old beetle, they never fit, look or work right. nice idea though. if they could design them to look good and fit

good they would probably be on to something
